The First Edition is selling this highly collectable first edition book by Andrew Lang, The Book of Romance, from 1902.
The original gilt decorated blue boards are in Very Good with the gilt still very bright, but with slight rubbing and with slight shelf lean.
There are 384 numbered pages, all edges gilt (aeg), and contains stories from King Arthur and Arthurian Legends. The pages are in overall Very Good condition and are complete with the decorated double page endpapers, 8 colour plates as per the list at the front of the book, and numerous full page and smaller black and white illustrations by Henry J. Ford.
This is a highly desirable and collectable first edition book by Andrew Lang from his romance book series
